I woke up this morning
Thinking of you
The sky was socked in
Now there's a little patch of blue
The sky is opening up
As I write you a letter
Could it be my thoughts of you
Are influencing the weather ?
I hope that you will call or write
Just to say hi
While I take a break from work
I'll keep watching the sky

Hi Epiphany.Actually I was thinking of a lady, and had no particular color in mind as I was looking out of my front door. Suddenly, the wind began to blow and the dark clouds moved past the mountain followed by a patch of blue that kept growing.
As I began to write, Micah and Arianna came walking up. We got her started on some oil pastel drawings, then she gravitated towards beading. A friend of mine had sent me some glass beads, so she picked some out and began to string up a necklace. She asked what I was doing. I told her I was writing poetry. She said what's that. I replied, see these 4 lines, and these 4, and these 4 ? That's poetry. What are you writing that for? she asked. So other people all over the world can read it , I responded. Would you like to say Hi to the people in other places ? Yes, she said. O.K. I'll tell the people from all over the world that you send them Aloha. Oh good ! she said.
I now have 4 original Halloween oil pastels signed by the artist, and in exchange , she has made an asymetrically beaded necklace for herself.
What a lovely piece. It is hard to resist thinking that the power of our thoughts can influence the weather. That has happened to me too. I have thought of someone and the light has shifted.

Thank you so much Selma.It sure is interesting how little signs and symbols appear, if that's what these things are. Arianna will be so happy to hear that The People of The World send their greetings. She had so much fun today. I took the afternoon off too. We just played and had a grand time.
